BRM Mak44 Chronograph

Published by in BRM on July 25th, 2012 | No Comments »

Love this.  May look really huge, but this is actually a reasonable 44mm piece.  The case is made from something called ‘Makrolon’, which is a thermoplastic polymer apparently.

The lugs, crown and pushers are titanium and the crystal is sapphire.  Water resistance to 50 meters.

Movement is the automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7753 – 29 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 46 hours

All yours for 8,800 Euros!

BRM Bombers Warbirds

Published by in BRM on May 21st, 2012 | No Comments »

Loving this BRM Warbirds series – super cool!

So much to like about them: from the artwork to the propellor hands and the Bulldog on the rear casing.

The lacquer tipped pushers are also really nice – they look great on the stainless steel version.

Priced from 5400 Euros, these are 45mm in size, in stainless steel or steel black PVD.

The crystal is sapphire, and water resistance is to 100 meters.

Movement is the ETA 7753 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.

BRM Records TB-10000 Tours

What do you make of this one?

Available in December this year, this is the unusual BRM TB-10000 Tours watch.

The odd shape is designed to give you the best viewing angle when you’re bombing along in your sportscar.

It’s a 44mm piece (although measurements for this form factor might be somewhat moot) in a titanium and carbon fiber case.

The movement is a Swiss ETA 2671 which has been modified to work in the 90-degree angle case.

Not sure how many of these will be made, but if you want one for Xmas then head off to your local BRM dealer with 8,200 Euros in your sky-rocket and might just be in luck.

BRM V12-44 Gulf Chronograph

Published by in BRM on March 5th, 2011 | No Comments »

I do like this :-)

This is the limited edition (4 models x 100 pieces each) B.R.M. Gulf Oil tribute.

With a suggested retail of £5700 this V12-44 is equipped with an automatic chronograph movement, housed by a black PVD 44mm case and featuring a black dial with blue and orange Gulf stripes.

The strap also recalls Gulf’s trademark colors with bright orange lining and two tone stitching.

The V12-44 Gulf will be delivered in a special case, which includes the numbers of each watch stamped onto a small metal nameplate.

The aforementioned movement is a ‘heavily-modified’ ETA Valjoux 7753.

Put this one on my Christmas list please Santa :-)
