Epos Flying Tourbillon [Baselworld 2012]

Only 10 Epos Flying Tourbillons up for grabs – so get in quick :-)

A 44mm piece in 18kt rose gold, it features double sapphire crystals and water resistance to 50 meters.

Movement is the hand-wound STT 13.21-71-002.

This is set with genuine diamonds, decorated with hand engraved flower-motives and blued steel screws.

It has an impressive 110 hours of power reserve and a one minute flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.

Looks great too!

Epos Sportive Pilot Chronograph [Baselworld 2012]

The first (and only) time we saw Epos around here previously was in conjunction with a range of very attractive pocketwatches.

Something a little more ‘basic’ (and dare we say, practical) now though, in the form of their Sportive Pilot Chrono range.

Featuring a Valjoux 7750 movement, these 43mm pieces come in stainless steel or steel black PVD.

You also get a sapphire crystal, a display back and water resistance to 100 meters.

Epos Pocket Watches

Published by in Epos on April 23rd, 2011 | 1 Comment »

Sadly, you’re as likely to find someone wearing a pocket watch nowadays as you are to find a blogger with a typewriter.

However, it’s almost Anzac Day here in Australia and so, in honour of my great-grandfather who fought in WW1 and never went out without wearing a three-piece suit with a pocket watch, here are some beautiful examples from Epos.

The models here all feature a hand-wound Unitas movement (Unitas 6497-1 or Unitas 6498-2).  They are available in gold or palladium plated steel cases with Arabic or roman numerals on white or black dials depending on the versions.
