Given the pastel colours at play here, there’s a lot more going on with this 200-piece limited edition Bulova Accutron Conqueror than might first meet the eye.
It’s based on a model from 1927 – the Lone Eagle timepiece – which was created by Bulova to commemorate Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh’s solo non-stop flight across the Atlantic Ocean.
The crystal is sapphire and the strap is Mississippi alligator.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Dubois-Depraz caliber 31340 with 53 jewels.
It features chronograph and GMT complications.
The movement is COSC-certified as a chronometer.
Individually numbered on the caseback it includes a certificate of authenticity.
To ensure no naughty person makes more than 200, once done the molds will be destroyed apparently.
Very dramatic :-)
MSRP is $4,900.

This Bulova limited edition reminds me of EPCOT: a vision of the future from 40 years ago ..
A new collection from Bulova for you now – the Accutron Curaçao.
Unfortunately the only tuning-fork present in this nod to techie days gone by from Bulova is in the form of a logo.
