Gerge Metropolis M1 Chronometer

A chunky new limited edition piece from Gerge now.

I rather like the crown on this one – it’s the small things in life you know ;-)

The Metropolis M1 will be available in 288 pieces only. Apparently the name is a nod to Fritz Lang’s 1927 masterpiece.

It’s a 45mm piece, in stainless steel. There’s a ceramic bezel and AR-coated sapphire crystals.

Water resistance to a reasonable 100 meters.

Movement is the automatic ETA 7750. This will give you a power reserve of 46 hours and features a sub-seconds counter at the 9 o’clock position.

Gergé M3

Here’s the M3 from a new brand on the block - Gergé.

It’s a titanium mono-pusher.

‘Mono-pusher’?

One button does the lot :-)

This 45mm model has a COSC-certified chronometer with a movement from Concepto (who also make movements for Linde-Werdelin).

The M3 comes on an alligator strap and has a sapphire caseback.

It’s available with either an athracite or rhodium plated dial.

If you like what you see you’ll have to move quick though – only 88 pieces will be made.

And the price?  The M3′s will retail for around $7500.

What do you think?
