Steinhart Triton 30 Atmospheres Dual Time

A relative bargain at 490 Euros, this diver from Steinhart will see you set all the way down to 300 metres underwater.

Whilst it might look rather stubby in the hand department, this is a chunky 45mm piece.

It comes with the standard sapphire crystal.

Power is from an ETA movement.

An ETA 2893-2 with 21 jewels, to be exact.

Steinhart Marine Chronograph Blue

With a nod to the Vacheron Constantin Overseas on its backside, this is the Steinhart Marine Chronograph Blue.

Modelled on an Italian Navy’s deck officer chronograph, this is a 44mm piece.

Somewhat ironically, given the subject matter (and the ship engraved on the rear), water resistance is ‘limited’.

One for the dry dock, obviously :-)

Power arrives courtesy of an automatic ETA caliber 2824-2 featuring a Dubois Dépraz DD 2030 module and 49 jewels.

Priced to move at 600-800 Euros, depending on where you buy it!

Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military

Hmm.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but this Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military looks to be inspired by .. something .. what do you think? ;-)

This is a 42mm stainless steel piece.

The crystal is a domed sapphire with AR-coating on the inside.

It is water resistant to 200 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2824-2 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 40 hours.

Yours for bargain 330 Euros.

Steinhart Marine Chronograph Special Edition

Taking a step back from the SIHH exotics for a moment to check out this new Steinhart Marine Chronograph.

Definitely in the more affordable price bracket, at 1240 Euros (MSRP), this limited edition is a modern interpretation of an observer chronograph which was developed near the end of World War II for deck officers of the Italian navy.

It feature an elaborate three-piece sandwich-dial done in gray, over a matte-black dial with silver hands.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 48mm x 17.5mm. It has a sapphire crystal and display back, and is wate resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7753 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 44 hours. It is done in the “Top Grade Soigné Finish” elaboration and is equipped with a Steinhart rotor in gun metal plating with Geneva Stripes finish.
