Armand Nicolet L09

From something simple by Armand Nicolet, to something a little more complex (but still pretty cool nonetheless).

The understatedly named ‘L09′.

Available as a limited edition of 450 this watch features a 44mm case, available in 18kt rose gold or in DLC black titanium.

It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 50 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic AN0711A caliber (base Unitas 600 from 1957) with 18 jewels, 18,000 vph and a power reserve of 36 hours.

It features a Swan Neck regulator (to 5 positions), Incabloc shock absortion and Cotes de Geneva finishing.

Armand Nicolet L10

After all the crazy complications featured here recently there’s something strangely beautiful about this Armand Nicolet 999 piece limited edition.

The case is stainless steel and 18kt rose gold.

It measures 40mm x 8mm and has a sapphire crystal.  Water resistance is to 30 meters.

Movement is the Swiss manual-wind AN710A, which is derived from a FHF 72 (Fabrique d’Horlogerie de Fontainemelon) caliber produced back in 1960.

It has 17 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 34 hours. It is finished with Perlage, and the bridges are decorated with Surface Vagues and gold engravings.

Armand Nicolet’s watchmakers added an Incabloc shock absorber and made other modifications so it could achieve modern technical standards.

Simple, but very desirable.

Armand Nicolet LL9

[Press Release] Armand Nicolet’s watchmakers have achieved a technical feat by reworking a 1960s Fontainemelon Calibre FHF 905. Because of the rarity of its movement, the LL9 is limited to only 500 pieces. This timepiece, the brand’s first Limited Edition designed exclusively for women, is a complete reinvention, but one that highlights its vintage mechanism. This can be seen through the finely guilloché, openworked dial. A perfect blend of Swiss watchmaking tradition and avant-garde technique, each model is exceptional and elegant and will become the prized possession of only a few very happy ladies.
