Thanks to the groovy cats at OceanicTime for the skinny on this – the new H2O Kalmar prototype.
The watch is designed to be user-configurable via a series of modifications that can be carried out using a system of hex-screws to attach interchangeable bezels, casebacks and crown guards.
Housed in a grade 5 Titanium case – water resistant to 3000 meters (wow) – there will be two versions: a brushed titanium model with an ETA 2824 movement for US$900, and a DLC on Bead Blasted titanium model with an ETA2836-GMT movement that will set you back around US$1100.
