A.Mantei is named after its founder, independent watch maker Armin Mantei.
A watchmaker since 1977, Mantei formed the A.Mantei brand in 2007.
The Mantei philosophy is to use traditional methods and tools to handcraft his watches.
[why does he do this] “Because I enjoy it because I can and because I can let my creativity run wild. And along the way I am doing something for the conservation of traditional watchmaking and the craft’s in general.”
Every Mantei watch is named after stars.
