I wonder what you make of this?
The Hambergé Tourbillon from Cecil Purnell comes in a black PVD titanium case, equipped with the caliber CP3008 movement.
The case, designed from 5 components, features a 34mm aperture on the dial.
The bezel is in MX455 steel and has 12 decorative polished steel nut sockets.
The dial is super-luminova and has an opening at six o’clock providing visibility of the tourbillon cage.
The model also features anti‐reflective sapphire crystal, custom CP rubber strap and deployment buckle. Water resistance is to 8ATM.
So what do you think?
I’m sort of torn. I like a more modern take on the tourbillon but I’m really not sure about the ‘nuts’, nor the red writing on the bezel which, at least to my fevered mind, comes across as a bit G-Shockish. A look I suspect C.Purnell was not aiming for!
Thumbs up? Or thumbs down?
