Perrelet Turbine Dragon L.E.

Hidden away behind the deadly spinning blades of this Perrelet Turbine .. a Dragon!

Limited to 99 pieces, this is a 44mm model in stainless steel black DLC.

It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back and water resistance to 50 meters.

Movement is the Perrelet automatic P-331 double rotor.

The strap is black alligator with a folding clasp with push-buttons.

Arrgh. Hmm, not sure what noise a dragon makes :-)

Perrelet Turbine Diver

Perrelet have moved on from their risque prior offering (thankfully, some might say) and back to something a little more ‘normal’ in this Turbine Diver.

The main trick remains though – a spinning central turbine dial, powered via the Perrelet P-331 automatic double-rotor movement.

With a water resistance of 300m, this is a 47.5mm piece in stainless steel.

A black DLC version is also available.

Colour-wise you’ll be able to select from black or blue, with yellow or white trim.

The watch comes wearing a black or blue rubber strap.

Priced at between $6,550 and $7,200 depending on the desired spec.

Perrelet Turbine Hentai Erotic

Perrelet have spiced up their Turbine range, quite literally, with a limited series featuring Japanese erotic Hentai images.

Viewed by a flick of the wrist (very apt), each image depicts a scene that some might find a bit naughty, but fans of this style of Japanese comic art will find very familiar.

There are eight images in total, each of which will be made in a run of 88 pieces (eight being very lucky, see).

Aside from the titillating pics, the watches are 44mm in size, made from either black coated DLC steel or from titanium.

The movement is a Perrelet automatic P-181.

They come on a rubber strap (poor choice of phrase perhaps ..).

What do you think?

I like them, but you might have to choose the occasion on which you wore one a little carefully.

Some people might not enjoy them as ‘art’ in the same way as others would, or as I’m sure these were intended  …

Perrelet Seacraft

[Press Release] Evolving in a new universe, Perrelet is now accompanying enthusiasts in search of discovery and emotions in the dark depths of the oceans.

In a field so far not explored, Perrelet is plunging into this aquatic world with three instruments of measurement; its new collection comprises the 3 hands-date, the GMT and the Chronograph. All three are proposed in a robust stainless steel case with elegant contrasting polished and brushed surfaces. A 4mm thick sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment on both sides, and a stamped, screw-down case back, guaranteeing water-resistance to 777 metres, complete the case features.

The main model featured here, the Chronograph, has a screw-down crown and two push-pieces encircled with aluminum rings, which contribute to the smooth functioning of the mechanical movement. An automatic helium valve, a vital element when the watch is being used in a diving chamber, is located at 9 o’clock.

The fluting, which is the Brand’s aesthetic, is clearly recognizable on the one-way, notched, rotating bezel, showing a 60-minute scale and featuring a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock.

The extreme demands imposed by this sometimes very dark environment necessitate a clear legibility of its displays. The symmetric indication of its counters on the white, black or blue dials, the applied indexes and the hands containing luminescent material produce wonderful contrasts.

This collection is very well-balanced and sits perfectly on the wrist, whether with its elegant alligator leather or with its comfortable brushed stainless steel bracelet. A high-tech nylon strap is offered in the special watch box that comes with the three models of this collection.

Immersion in a world of silence, a world of mystery sometimes feared but always admired, in which you will be able to let yourself go with your new adventure companion.

Perrelet Turbine XS

Perrelet’s Turbine watch collection gets its first ladies model with the blinged-out Turbine XS.

Not too many details to share at this stage – all will be revealed at the soon-to-be-here Baselworld.

The spinning dial turbine allows the diamonds set on the dial to flash with movement of the wrist.

More diamonds are set in the bezel and on the lugs and instead of the normal rubber strap a satin one is used.

The movement is a Swiss made automatic.

More as we have it :-)

Perrelet Automatic Tourbillon Limited Edition

[Press Release] A mechanical marvel, the Tourbillon remains a benchmark in the universe of luxury watchmaking and signals the return of a masterpiece to the Perrelet collection.

In its generous 50mm, rose gold and DLC steel case, already appreciated in the Perrelet collection, the new interpretation of this rare automatic Tourbillon with off-centre hour and minute display, is a magnificent demonstration of style.

Perrelet has chosen to work the structure and composition of its latest creation in depth, in order to evoke the multidimensional aspect of time. Thus the cage of the flying tourbillon is presented inside a cylindrical ring positioned at 6 o’clock. The small second’s indication is provided by the revolving of the cage, which completes one full rotation every 60 seconds. Two wing-shaped, carbon fibre zones lead the eye towards 12 o’clock, where the tips of the hour and minute hands are finished in a luminescent material.

The minute hand, precisely profiled to rise out of its recessed base area, matches the contours of its surrounding limits perfectly. The extensions of the claws gripping the case embellish the dial in the form of six double tubes, adding force and character to the whole. On the reverse side, the crystal case back reveals the “Côte de Genève” decoration of the movement and the Perrelet oscillating weight, brushed and set with a crystal engraved with the Brand’s name.

This complication is completed with a black rubber strap and DLC steel tongue buckle in a limited series of 20 pieces only. Skilfully combining avant-garde with tradition, this out of the ordinary timepiece would certainly have appealed to the inventor, Abraham-Louis Perrelet; because over and above the product, there is man, the love of the know-how and the pleasure of sharing a passion.

Developed and manufactured exclusively by the Group’s Affiliate, MHVJ (Manufacture horlogère de la Vallée de Joux), the P-211 calibre is a marvel of precision. The exceptional interaction of the 3 technical components (carrier, starwheel and pinion) provides an exact indication that will not require correction (independently of the date) for more than 100 years, when working non-stop.

Proposed in a sober, refined manner, the imposing moon disc is synchronised with the hours, minutes, seconds and date with central hand. The cases housing this complication belong to the classic collection of the range. Recognizable by their fluting, they are fitted with an alligator strap with folding clasp which, with due attention to detail, continues the fluting feature on its sides.

You can be sure that in his quest for perpetual movement, Abraham-Louis Perrelet would have spent many hours of reflection, studying the unchanging cycle of the moon…
