‘Chance would be a fine thing’ as my Grandparents used to say, but it would be a tough choice between this one and Cartier’s pocket-watch we featured a few days ago.
To be available in just fifty Rose Gold and fifty titanium pieces the ‘Rotonde Minute Repeater Flying Tourbillon’, to use its full name, is on the way to an unveiling at next year’s SIHH event.
It’s a 45mm piece with sapphire crystals and water resistance to 30 meters.
Those are mere technical details though, and as beautiful as this is to look at from the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that is really impressive.

The movement is the Swiss manual-wind Cartier in-house caliber 9402MC with 47 jewels. It bears the Geneva Seal and features two complications: a minute repeater (68 decibels) and a flying tourbillon.
